Welcome to the official event page for the 1st Annual English Educators' EXTRAVAGANZA - Osaka. This will be a day of workshops, discussions, and fun.

In addition to the serious stuff, you can look forward to a raffle, stamp rally, and several, "Vibe Times" throughout the day. The main event will be followed by a BBQ social in the same space so folks can socialize and connect more deeply.

The Yellow Shrimp, Osaka is a popular Japanese restaurant known for its vibrant atmosphere and delicious, seafood-centric menu. The Event

  • LUNCH

    There will be an at-the-venue Fancy Hot Dog (Brats) Lunch. Please indicate if you’d like to indulge in the sign-up form.
  • SOCIAL

    There will be a casual social after the event so folks can mingle and get to know community members better. The Social will be a BBQ Dinner. Price will be ¥3,000 for soft drinks and ¥5,000 including open bar.
  • Recordings

    Each presentation will be recorded and made available at a later date, so don't fret if you miss one. You can see it later!

My name is Meg Rivera, and I grew up in Cebu City in the Philippines. I started as a radio journalist in New Zealand, before deciding that it was much more fun to be a teacher in Japan.
