Hall, E. and Hall, M. (1990). Understanding Cultural Differences. Yarmouth, Me.: Intercultural Press, p.199. Alyssa Micek is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Cuenca, Ecuador, 2015-2017. She was a TEFL trainer who co-taught with 5 high school English teachers to help improve their methodology and pronunciation among other things. After Peace Corps she traveled South America and even taught at an English Institute in Cusco, Peru. She is now residing in the Chicagoland area teaching adult ESL (geared toward work readiness) at a local community college. She is just weeks away from graduating with her MA TESOL from Gonzaga University. She is a language enthusiast and loves teaching English!
