Daniel is a 41-year old Brit, who has been living and working in the Netherlands since 2007. Born and raised in London, he graduated with a Master´s degree in Film Theory from the University of Westminster in 2004. Subsequently, he worked in such diverse sectors as publishing and film, before entering the world of education. After successfully completing his CELTA (Cambridge English language teaching for adults) in 2010, he has taught over 3500 hrs of EFL, mainly to adults. 2017 was a busy year as he became a published author after independently publishing The EFL Teacher's Handbook, got married and became a Dutch citizen all within a month. In 2018 he passed DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching for Adults) module 1, self-published his second book: The EFL Teacher's Companion and the indispensable: EFL Resources: 20 Writing Assignments. EFL Blogs (2019) is the latest enterprise, of particular interest are such sections as: Student Psychology and Tricky Situations Teachers May Face as well as interviews with 5 legendary linguists (Thornbury, Crystal, Larsen-Freeman, Ur and Swan).
