Professor William Donald Stewart Linklater is a Canadian-Ecuadorian who has been teaching since 1972 at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in Quito in the departments of Linguistics and International Business and International Relations, which he has also directed. The subjects he teaches in English include Oral and Listening Skills, English for Business, Translation, Cross Cultural Communication, Academic Writing, Communication, Public Speaking, and others, and has contributed articles in English and Spanish in different international indexed magazines.
