Born in Derry, Northern Ireland, Gary first obtained his CELTA certificate after graduating from Queen’s University Belfast with a degree in English and Creative Writing. His first post was at a private language school in South Korea however, since then, he has developed his teaching skills throughout countries as diverse as Panama, Nicaragua, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam and China. Married to an American, he has recently jumped through the fiery hoops of US bureaucracy in order to immigrate to small town Idaho.
