Dr Jeremy Koay is currently an education consultant at EduMaxi. Before joining EduMaxi, he has tutored Academic Writing and taught on the English Proficiency Programme at Victoria University of Wellington. Before going to New Zealand, he had seven years of experience teaching ESOL, English for Science and Technology, and Mathematics at secondary school level in Malaysia. He graduated with a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Victoria University of Wellington in 2015. His research interests include Academic Writing, Applied Linguistics/TESOL, Discourse Analysis, and Genre Analysis.
