Julie Pratten is a teacher, writer and publisher with extensive experience of both general and business English in more than 20 counties. She is the leading author of English for finance, including ‘Absolute Banking English’ and ‘Absolute Financial English’ by Delta Publishing. Julie runs the independent publishing platform ‘Academic Study Kit’ which specialises in the award-winning A-Z photocopiables series. Julie is a keen advocate of authors’ rights and serves on the committee of the Educational Writers Group of the Society of Authors. She is also the joint events coordinator of IATEFL’s Global Issues SIG. Doing things differently in collaboration with others is what inspires her.
