Mélanie has been a teacher for 20 years. She was a classroom ESL teacher in Montreal and then France and made websites as a side hustle. She was offered a position as a multimedia instructional designer where she collaborated on various programmes and games for clients like Warner Brothers, PBS and National Geographic. Lately, after learning of the dyslexia diagnosis of her eldest daughter, she obtained a certificate in dyslexia remediation and is now working with students who have literacy-based learning issues. Inspired by her daughter’s courage, she is sharing her own struggle with dyslexia and leveraging the intensely creative and persistent drive it gives her to make learning materials for that purpose.
