Steven Herder, originally from Canada, has been living and working in Japan for over 25 years. He has seen English education in Japan from many perspectives, teaching elementary school, junior and senior high school, and now at the university level as Associate Professor at Kyoto Notre Dame University. He is a founding member of the International Teacher's Development Institute (iTDi.pro) and loves to see teachers, young and old, blossom professionally when they feel trust and safety in the iTDi community.
