The Reading Road – Where Phonics Phits (Eric Kane)

We all know that phonics can be an important skill in helping our students learn how to read, but where does it fit in the big picture?

In this presentation, we will look at the reading process as a whole before pulling back a bit to see where, and how, phonics instructions can help our students achieve the ultimate goal of reading to learn.

Get your Students USING English! (Katie Mutter Kato)

How can you get your elementary students (and up) to really use the English they have learned so far? How can you help them create original, authentic language? I will be sharing tips and tricks to get your students speaking and writing more!

RSE is more than just a Game: Develop Creativity, Confidence, and Communication Skills. (Timothy Hill)

Ready, Set, Eigo! was created to meet a very personal need in my own school. Now one of Amazon.jp’s top recommended English games, RSE is more than just a fun lesson activity.

Players both young and old can engage in a way that helps foster strong communicative skills such as creativity, courage, critical thinking, and confidence.

Send your Students on a Learning Adventure with the Awesome Adventure Series! (Adam Kardos)

Learning in a classroom has its limitations. Get your kids out of the classroom and into an adventure… to save the planet. Watch them jump out of their seats to say things they want to say like “The robots are coming! Let’s hide under the table!”

An Easier Way To get Young Learners Speaking Naturally (Scott Crowe)

Scott will show a simple way to connect a story, songs and games to get young learners speaking more naturally. Based on years of feedback he has boiled down his method for easier implementation. He has also created more songs to help less energetic teachers shine.

Maple Leaf Learning Library – Your Favorite Materials, Anywhere (Kenny King)

Learn how the Maple Leaf Learning Library makes lesson planning a breeze by giving educators instant access to an ever-growing catalog of professional, battle-tested materials.

Easy Fun Learning: The more you play the more you learn! (Jeff Hodsdon)

In 2018 Easy Fun Learning was born. Our first two games were Tornado! and Splat!. The next year we came out with 2 more fun games Food Fight and Get 5: Sushi and GET 5: jobs. We were blown away by all the great feedback we got from people who bought our games. We were in the process of getting our second print run out and then BANG!…the pandemic hit and took the wind out of our sales. But, 3 years later and we are back with plans for a reprint and relaunch in 2024!
